Washington Capital is pleased to announce that Thandi Clements has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer for Washington Capital. In this role, Thandi will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s marketing, client relations and consultant relations activity.

Thandi joined Washington Capital in 2012 as Vice President, Marketing and Client Relations. In that role, she was responsible for marketing and client relations in California and the southwestern United States. Our firm has grown considerably since then, and Thandi has been a significant contributor to that growth while also taking on additional responsibilities. She has become an integral part of our organization and a key part of our future success.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Thandi will manage Washington Capital’s Marketing and Client Relations team of seven professionals. We look forward to her leadership of this group as she builds on her numerous contributions to the firm.

In addition to her new role, Thandi is also an employee-owner, a member of Washington Capital’s Board of Directors and a member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
