David joined WaCap in February 2016. His responsibilities include portfolio management of separate account real estate and infrastructure holdings, and investment underwriting. He also performs due diligence for third party commingled funds, asset management, corporate legal administration and management, and unique special investment projects as they arise.
David has worked in the fields of real estate investment, finance, and accounting. He began his career in real estate in 1985. The majority of his experience was with Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors, ultimately in an executive role on the senior management team. At Weyerhauser he focused on investment underwriting and due diligence, financial analysis, market research, and asset management.
David graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Washington State. David serves on a number of boards, including the Accounting Advisory Board within the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University, and the Camping Services and Outdoor Leadership Board with the YMCA of Greater Seattle.
