Shawn joined Washington Capital’s Seattle office in September 2024 and leads the Analysis & Valuation team. He is responsible for overseeing both analyst production and real estate appraisal activities across Washington Capital’s various real estate equity and debt funds, separate accounts, and advisory roles.
Shawn began his career in the commercial real estate industry in 2008 after graduating from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and Marketing. Before joining WaCap, Shawn was Managing Director for BBG, Inc., where he was engaged in business development, client outreach, recruiting, and production of commercial appraisal reports both independently and in collaboration with other appraisers on a national scale. Prior to this, he held Senior Appraiser positions at several respected appraisal firms, as well as a Senior Financial Analyst role at an investment brokerage firm, where he regionally managed a team of analysts involved in investment sales transactions.
Shawn is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of Washington and received his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 2015.
