Matt is Vice President of Real Estate at WaCap in the Portland office. Matt has a variety of responsibilities at the company, ranging from debt and equity placement, asset management, and client relationships. Matt joined Washington Capital in June 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked from 2005-2011 in the institutional ownership side of real estate, notably working at BioMed Realty in Acquisitions and Asset Management roles.
Matt graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego as a Business Administration major, with emphasis in Real Estate and Finance, and with a minor in Economics. He later received his Certificate in Real Estate: Finance, Investments, and Development through the university.
Matt is a native of Portland, Oregon, and is an active volunteer in his local branch of the Big Brothers Big Sisters charitable organization.
