Sean joined the firm in July 2013 and was named VP, Assistant Portfolio Manager, Real Estate Debt in 2023. Sean assists the Portfolio Manager in identifying new products and markets as well as developing strategic portfolio positioning plans. Prior to joining Washington Capital, Sean served in construction management with Lend Lease and commercial real estate banking with Union Bank.
Sean graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2006 and received his MBA from the University of Washington in 2013. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), a Co-Chair of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) San Francisco Programs Committee, and a member of the University of Washington MBA Bay Area Employer Advisory Board.
