Selina joined Washington Capital in 2018 as Assistant Vice President of Asset Management and was named VP, Real Estate in 2023. Her duties include valuation, lease negotiation, oversight of property management and appraisal contracts, capital planning, client reporting, and Argus financial modeling.
Selina has worked in real estate since 2009. Her experience includes working at Corcoran Jennison from 2011-2015 as Operations Manager and then as Property Manager. Selina chartered the lease-up of 400 LIHTC units and managed 224 apartments at a mixed-use facility with eleven retail tenants. She also performed contract administration, budgeting, special claims administration, property refinance projects, capital planning, and regulatory research. Selina worked at CBRE from 2015-2018 as a Commercial Real Estate and Operations Manager for 925,000 square feet of Class-A office and retail space. Selina was responsible for financial analysis, capital planning, quarterly investment reporting, lease structure and development, and general brokerage/appraisal oversight.
Selina graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, earning a BS in Corporate Finance and Marketing and an MBA in Finance. She also earned her Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University. Selina is a member of the National Association of Women MBAs, Real Estate Finance Association, and Building Owners and Managers Association.
